The Terri Green Project |
The Terri Green Projekt Washington D.C native, TERRI GREEN, lead singer of the formation, the TERRI GREEN PROJECT has finally realized her greatest dream. Traveling extensively with her Air Force parents, she was exposed to diverse musical styles at a very young age. Her crossover roots, instilled by her father’s love of various music genres, made Terri a wise music critic, well ahead of her time. His theory, simple, "music has no color, so don’t be afraid to venture into various styles." Her love for the great songwriters of her childhood, Burt Bacharach, Stevie Wonder, Barry White, Quincy Jones, just to name a few, were instrumental in her music development. Many years later, she would become a collaborating partner to L.A grammy nominated songwriter, Stephen H. Dorff (Through the years – Kenny Rogers, Take Good Care of Your Heart – Whitney Houston, Celine Dion), who was instrumental in motivating her to finish something of her own. One of the songs they cowrote, Should Have Seen it Coming is included on this release. Collaborations with Udo Lindenburg, dueting on his Good Life City Lp and penning songs for Pop Stars Sarah Connor (Paradise, Call Me) and Lutricia Mcneal ( Perfect Love), or joining house legend, Roger Sanchez on a number, has given her writing and performing career a very influential boost and she continues to write for numerous international artist and top deejays, having reached top ten in the UK and other nations several times. You may have recognized her voice in the Lufthansa International No Better Way campaign for several years. Her ability to chameleon is evident in the material on her new disc, a distant comparison to her past top 100 hit, Oh LA LA LA, with multimillion selling, Modern Talking producer, Luis Rodriguez. Touring India, Asia, Austrailia, Europe and the United States, touring almost weekly has become a great platform for the introduction of the music she has yearned to perform and offer a breath of fresh air for her listeners.
A regular in Hamburg, Germany to the famed Cotton club, Stage club, and house of Blues, she also has even performed in some of Russia’s most exclusive locations to include the gallery lounge and VIP room and Viennas’s VIP Room in Austria. She has collaborated and played alongside, such soul greats as Oliver Cheatham, the Platters, Gloria Gaynor, Lutricia Mcneal, and the dynamic Dru Hill. The TERRI GREEN PROJECT, was personally supported by several of her talented friends to include one of Swedens’ best, Johan Boback (Cindy Lauper, Chris Norman, Anders Borgius), Mike Severson (Bilal, Angie Stone, JOE), and Jochen Mueller (301 Sydney,301 Oxford)
